Halloween doesn't really count as a traditional festival for us when growing up but it's such a fun and exciting season! It's not as scary as Seventh-Month; it's like the fun scary adrenaline rush of a roller coaster ride. Plus is just 1 day vs a full month of scariness!
Masses of 'haunted' houses popping up at shopping malls and theme parks, cool scary (kinda) decorations at shop fronts and fun candy packaging too cute to eat. Lots of horror movies and TV series launching in this month, a binge fest for horror fans!
Which traditional food do you think can be turned into a Halloween treat? Let us know what you think and we may just set out to create that!
Have a spooooky October y'all!

Our Bak Chang are made fresh and delivered to you the next day. If you are first in the delivery route, you may still receive them warm!
Storage Tips
You do not need to store them in the fridge if you intend to eat them within the next day. Split out those for consumption in the next couple of days and store them in the chiller while for those that you would like to indulge over the next couple of weeks, store them immediately (after cooling down) in the freezer. When frozen, they can last about a month.
Reheating Tips
Remove from fridge and thaw for 15 mins. Boil a pot of water (enough to cover the Bak Chang) and place the thawed Bak Chang in the water. Continue boiling the thawed Bak Chang for 10-15 mins. Remove from the pot and drip dry for 10 mins.
If you are…

As a child, Chinese New Year would be a favourite, we get to pretty much do whatever we want on that special day, plus getting paid (ang pows!) for it. New clothes, visiting (going out!), eating snacks all day without getting scolded; what's not to like? 😍
